Moccasins1186/14 a-d

The moccasins (part a-b) are white skin with a multicoloured beadwork panel on the top. Each moccasin appears to be made from one piece of skin with a seam at the heel and gathered at the toe, secured under the beadwork panel. The panel motif is a red, green and white flower with a stem and two yellow and brown leaves, outlined in black on a pink background. There are also three borders; black-white, green and pink. The beadwork in done on a black fabric of which a half circle is visible at the top of the panel. A black trim with beadwork (part c). The black fabric is edged along three sides with gray fabric and with brown fur along the fourth. Next to the gray edges are multicoloured, beaded borders that mimic the borders around the panel on the moccasins. There is a pink border, a green, a black-white and another pink border that loops seven times. A black trim with beadwork (part d). Part d is the same as part c, but without the fur edging.
