Oil JarletEdz1436

A small ceramic jar with a flattened sphere and a flat base. There are vertical striations from base to flat shoulder which is marked by slight ridge. The unglazed small mouth is set directly into the shoulder. The light yellow-white fine grained body is covered with grey-white translucent crackled glaze, pooling to an opaque white in the striations and to a light grey-green white near the base.

Inkstand1278/3 a-b

Ceramic inkstand; part b is a wooden stand. Inkstand has two square levels; the upper one is decorated with a landscape of a person sitting on grass; lower level has a floral decoration. The small side faces are decorated with a central flower surrounded by leaf designs. The two large side faces are decorated with geometric holes cut out and gold horizontal lines on a blue ground.

Ceramic dish with a foliated edge on a flat rim and a shallow cavetto. Glazed foot ring. Splashes of glaze on slightly convex base. White, heavy porcelaneous body, burnt reddish in firing. Overall thick, unctuous, crackled light blue-white glaze, pulling away slightly over barbs.
