Bracelet1015/2 a-b

Part a is a curved fragment of a silver carved bracelet. One end tapers to a squared off point and has a small latch. Part b is a broken off portion of part a, is a curled fragment of a silver carved bracelet, and has a small rectangular cut-out opening for latch of part a at the tapered end.

String Puppet1232/3

A wooden male puppet (Zawgyi or Magician character) carved with black hair in a bun and a black hair for a moustache. He has an orange and yellow headdress decorated with sequins and glass circles. He is wearing a robe with a pink top that has a shiny floral pattern, and a pink and pearl-coloured robe with a swirl and zig zag pattern. His shoes are painted black. Attached to a wooden marionette handle with strings.

Yellow-brown piece of hide with one high, narrow corner flaring out into a roughly rectangular shape. A line of thick stitching runs from the bottom right corner into the centre of the piece, holding together a long cut in the hide.

BasketNa1606

A tall circular brown bark container decorated with dyed quills. The design consists of two flowers with green stems and leaves. One flower is red outlined with purple, and the other flower is purple outlined with red. Both flowers have a brown dot in the centre surrounded by a red five-pointed middle with two brown lines emanating from in between each point. The top and the bottom of the container are overlapped with a strip of bark that has a curved semi-circle pattern facing the centre. The bottom and the top of the container, as well as the sides of the lid, are rimmed with bark strips that are perpendicular to the rim lines. There are strips of soft hide attached to the sides of the container and the lid.

Mobile Figure1610/12 a-e

The first piece (part a) is the head of a female painted with a green face and a large oval headdress surrounding her entire face. The headdress has a cylindrical stepped middle part, and the whole thing is red decorated with gold dots and a yellow rim. Her face is outlined with white and she has long black fibre hair. The second piece (part b) is the upper body which has the arms bent at the elbows with the right perpendicularly forward and the left more toward the body. The hands are both held in a position whereby the thumb connects in a circle with the finger next to it. The neck is long and tapers up to a point with a metal loop. The upper body garment is red decorated with green, blue, and gold. The third piece (part c) is the three red and beige multiple stringed strands with red and white tassels which are loosely tied around the neck. The fourth piece (part d) is a skirt which tapers to a red point at the top with a metal loop. The waist has a blue belt decorated with circular gold flowers and a horizontal gold line around the top and the bottom of the belt. Oval beads are painted in three rows around the hips with a pink rope underneath. The skirt is white with visible folds in the fabric and have two sets of horizontal rows that have pink in the middle and green around them which transition to yellow at the back. There is a long thin red front panel decorated with gold dots and sideways crescents outlined with two rows of gold dots followed by a pink, green, yellow, and white garland. Two long thin orange side panels are decorated with horizontal rows of green pink, blue, yellow and black. The fifth piece (part e) is the legs which are slightly fused together with blue anklets decorated with two horizontal of gold dots around the middle. The dark pink feet are standing on a rounded circular base painted grey and black. There is a metal loop at the top of the legs.
