Rectangular shaped, red and pink cotton textile decorated with a top section of stripes embroidered with geometric designs in orange, yellow, red, pink, dark green and beige. The bottom half section consists of long strips of fabric held together by embroidered section of geometric design that matches the top. The bottom strips are loose creating a fringe and have two lines of embroidered detailing.

Bag1444/21

Square shaped bag made of a long piece of fabric folded and sewn along the sides. The opening used to have a drawstring closure but still has a braided strap on either side that has tasseled ends; one side is broken. The bag is decorated with stripes of embroidered geometric designs in green, yellow and beige intermixed with sections of solid orange.

Bow LoomNa1608

A loom with a lightly coloured wood bow which curves and has a tan hide piece attached at one end and the strings for the weaving tied at the other end. One piece of cardboard separates the strings from each other as they are threaded through its holes. The design has a white background with purple and orange diamonds outlined and connected together with a horizontal green line. In between each set of purple and orange diamonds is a red-purple rectangular pattern made up of triangles pointing to a centre.

Panel Skirt889/1

Brown and green damask silk skirt. The skirt has a wide cotton waistband with loops. The skirt has pleated and embroidered panels of alternating brown and green ground. The embroidered panels have peacock, bird, butterfly and peony motifs on light green ground. Around the sides and bottom hem are thick brown borders with prunus, endless knot, floral motifs and roundels with human figures. The damask is woven with butterfly, floral and circle motifs. The inside is unlined.
