Stylized, loon-like bird with pointed beak facing up at an angle. Small round eyes and head rounds into neck. View from top show oval body tapering to back. Profile view shows flat back behind head, then sloping to tail. Mottled green stone with '36162' and a series of characters inscribed in bottom.

Subtly shaped blue human face mask tha has hair, with the ends wrapped in tape, inserted into seventeen drilled holes in the upper rim. Painted bent black brows above hollow cut out almond shaped eyes. Orbital ridge melds with diagonal cheek ridges. Red-brown band around each hollow oval shaped nostril. Black moustache above continuous red-brown lip band while the lower lip protrudes. Triangular black goatee below lower lip. Reverse painted red-brown; two metal 'eyes' screwed in at eye level. Cord passed through eyes and tied. Signed on the back side rim 'J. David 82'.

Small wolf mask with a long rounded snout pointed upwards. The lips and nose are painted red while the rest of the face and throat is green. The oval black eyes are painted in a natural coloured relief. A black band curves around framing the face. The ears are red and oval. Above the black band there is a natural coloured rim and a circlet of painted black and red oblong shapes. On the reverse ‘Tlingit Young Wolf' and ' J. David 80’ are printed.

Paneled blouse or huipil with decorated t-shaped bodice and back; rounded neckline. Panels are continuous over the shoulders with seams on the sides and two seams front and back. Central panels is brown with cream side panels. Decorated portions are vertically ribbed and decorated with green leaves, pink and white flowers with blue, yellow and purple detailing on a dark red ground. Around the scoop neck is a pointed scallop-shaped trim in dark red-brown and orange chain stitches with circles on each shoulder. Border of down pointing chevrons at sleeve openings and v-shapes along bottom. Black straight stitched hem for one half panel, brown for another; centre selvedges at hem, others raw.

A main design consisting of a black thunderbird with a serpent on the wing at the right and a wolf on the wing at the left surmount a green mountain-like island. Whale below island. Thunder bird has profile head, facing side on the right. Two ears side by side are joined at downward curving tips. Short curved open beak. Wings outspread horizontally at sides have gradually diminishing feather pattern towards island. Island is outlined in black with one black line diverging into two. Profile serpent has a curvilinear body, a head facing to the side on the left, two ears side by side curving downwards, two lines of short dashes along the upper line of the open mouth, and a curled nose. Wolf has a head turning to face the side on the left, two lines of short dashes along the upper lip, bared teeth, four s curves and a four pointed star on the body, paws on the fore and hind legs curving backwards, and an inverted u shaped tail. Whale has a triangular blowhole, a small dorsal fin, an open mouth, a pectoral fin at the left of the eye ovoid has a cross and a grouping of three horizontal lines, and tail flukes having eyes within a series of three ovoids. Pencil inscription along the bottom edge reads '408/500 The life of Meares Island J.David '85'. The print is on a horizontally rectangular, white paper piece.

Mask made from cut out planks of wood formed in a triangular-shape with flat sides, a thin adjoining nose piece and rectangular shaped pieces of wood at the back. Detailed in blue, black and red stylized forms is a lightning serpent with a carved snout which is painted black along with the eyebrow and mouth. The large red eyes are outlined in blue. The mouth has red teeth bared. Attached to the top of the mask are long, thin strips of cedar that hang down to cover the head of the wearer. Incised in the inner side is: ‘Clayoquot serpent headdress, J. David, 80’.

Silkscreen print of octagonal drum with perimeter design of eight segmented faces; black lines define segments and interior design. Interior segment design: u form above two ovoid eyes with narrow rectangular pupils in extended pointed eyelid lines; downturned mouth-like form below eyeovoids; t form and circle at top and base of segment lines. White woman mask has light orange-brown hair interspersed with black, hair inserted into twenty-six holes along upper rim, affixed with glue and wooden pegs. Slightly curved forehead. Light red arched raised brows. Circular hollow eyes. Brown eyelid line extends from above the brow on the temple, around the eye, and curves downward on to the cheek ridge. Aquiline nose. Slightly rounded cheek area has faint pink hue, as does the under-brow. Carved ears. Patchy pink lip band while the lower lip protrudes slightly. Rounded chin. On the reverse, there are thirty-one holes in the upper rim. Two metal 'eyes' screwed in above eye level. Wire passes through 'eyes' and is twisted. Two cylindrical wooden pegs at the base of the ears. Signed in pencil 'J. David '87'.

Humanoid face mask with a straight profile. Red horse's hair, with the ends wrapped in brown paper, are inserted into twenty-two holes drilled into the upper rim. Hollow oval eyes are surrounded by a plain tapering oval and a recessed oval. Light blue-green forehead has patches of white, wood visible through the paint, and an abstract red form line design on the forehead. Black brows protrude slightly. Blue-green band covers the temple, the orbital plane, the cheek, and the nose. Upward thrusting nostrils that are black on the underside and red on the outer side. Upper lip and chin. Three thin red-brown lines at the lower cheek on the left extend from the side edge to the mouth. One thick and one thin red-brown line on the lower cheek on the right extend from the side edge to the mouth. Open mouth with black next to the upper and lower teeth. On the reverse, there is a piece of wood that extends from the back of the mask with a strip of leather attached to the wood.
