Ring2827/50

Ornate gold ring encircling an engraved stone displaying a seal. The design in the stone depicts a horseman holding reins in his left hand, while his right hand supports a large bird. A small animal, perhaps a dog, runs beside the horse's feet. The green stone sits high, held in place by two gold posts on the top and on the bottom of the ring. A three-dimensional representation of a lion head can be seen on either side of the ring. The band of the ring is thick and decorated with lozenges.
