Long-sleeved black velvet shirt with large, blue, rectangular, embroidered panel covering the front. The cross stitch embroidery is mainly medium and light blue with some areas in a dark blue. It is composed of many repeating geometric designs in rows. For each shoulder, there is a small black ribbon with sewn on snap button closures.

Cloth3448/1

Kente cloth composed of five hand woven cloth strips. The green strips have been stitched together along the long edge, and then embroidered with designs. At each end there are five rectangles across by five rectangles down each strip. The centre of the cloth has groups of three rectangles with embroidered designs spread out. Uneven fringed ends.

Long-sleeved open jacket. Front is completely cross stitch embroidered with repeating geometric designs in bright colours. The back yoke is black fabric with a large embroidered dark red flower at centre, flanked by two smaller red designs. The lower back is a large embroidered panel composed of squares with a large diagonal diamond pattern within. The sleeves and sides continue the repeating geometric patterns from the front. Interior lined with a shiny black fabric.

Skirt3448/44

Skirt composed of a rectangular woven textile sewn along the short ends into a tube, which is then folded back over itself and held in place with a hook closure. The waistband is a solid black, with both a snap closure and hook closure midway down the centre of the band. The upper large area of the textile is composed of alternating vertical panels of Ikat(?) and designs of repeating diamonds. The lower portion of the skirt is composed of horizontal bands.

Long rectangular hammock made of woven fibre. The overall design is geometric designs woven in five sections of off-white with blue-grey at centre, then black-blue on either side, and then black-grey on both ends.
