Hammerstone2.5E924

An 11.2 cm. long pear-shaped smooth, black stone (possibly a hammerstone). Stone is flat on one side, bulging on the opposite side. Both ends of stone are worn and show signs of use (i.E. scratches, embedded soil, etc.). Subgroup: Columbia Slough, b/w Willamette R. & Columbia R.

Point, Chipped Stone2.5E923

A long,narrow (3.5 cm. wide) triangular shaped flaked obsidian point. Sides of point are notched 2 cms.from base. Notches are 8 cm. deep and U-shaped. Despite soil residues, point shows no signs of use. Subgroup: Columbia Slough, b/w Willamette R. & Columbia R.
