Small mauve tunic (part a). The tunic has a short standing collar, long sleeves, side slits and a side opening with frog closures. There is a pocket on the right inner flap. The inside is padded and lined with yellow cotton printed with pink flowers.

Small blue silk pants with pink cotton waistband. The pant legs angled sharply towards the waistband and the centre crotch seam is open on one side. The bottom of the pant legs have a black border with bat, peony and endless knot motifs in blue and white, edged with yellow floral trim. The inside is unlined.

Small light brown damask tunic. The tunic has a round neck, wide sleeves and side opening with brass frog closures. Around the neck, side opening and cuffs is a black border with orange floral trim. The damask is woven containing a bat and ji (luck) symbol motif. The inner lining is pink cotton.

Skirt PanelEdz1486 a-b

Two light green damask silk skirt panels (part a-b) with embroidery. The panels are not sewn into a skirt--there is no waistband. There are thin borders running down the skirt and along the bottom hem with multicoloured floral motifs on black ground and blue floral trim. There is a dense section of embroidery on each panel with phoenix, peony, orchid, peach and Qilin motifs on light green ground. The damask is woven containing large chrysanthemum motifs. The inner edges are lined with dark red silk; the skirt is otherwise unlined.

Blue damask robe with rounded neck, wide sleeves, side slits and side opening with metal frog closures. On the front and back are butterfly and flower motifs in pink, yellow, white, green and black on a blue ground. The collar and side border bands have butterfly and prunus tree motifs on a black ground. The sleeve border has two bands; one with phoenix, peony and chrysanthemum motifs on a black ground and the other band with garden scenes, birds and insects on a cream ground. The sleeve lining is pink silk. The inside lining is mauve silk.

Blue damask robe with wide sleeves, side slits, side opening and rounded neck. On the front and back are large peony and butterfly motifs in pink, white, green and black on a blue ground. The collar and border bands have endless knot, butterfly, bird and flower motifs on a black ground. The sleeve border has two bands; one with bird and pine tree motifs in gold and green on a black ground and the other band with bird, butterfly, peony and pine tree motifs in blue and white on a black ground. The inside lining is light blue silk.

Multicoloured damask skirt with pleats and embroidery. Across the top is a wide cotton waistband with three rows of frog closures. The various damask panels are woven with bat and flower motifs and eight Buddhist objects of good fortune. On the edges of the skirt are black borders. On the front and back are panels with elaborate borders and butterfly, bat and fish motifs surrounding rectangular pictures of Chinese figures in red, gold, yellow, black, purple, green and blue. Small embroidered butterflies with beaded eyes and black bats are attached between the panels. The inside is unlined.
