Item Search

The item search helps you look through the thousands of items on the RRN and find exactly what you’re after. We’ve split the search into two parts, Results, and Search Filters. You’re in the results section right now. You can still perform “Quick searches” from the menu bar, but if you’re new to the RRN, click the Search tab above and use the exploratory search.

Loom378/1

A loom with a lightly coloured wood bow which curves and has a tan hide piece attached at one end and the strings for the weaving tied at the other end. One piece of bark separates the strings from each other as they are threaded through its holes, and another piece of bark is used to compress the quills used to create the weave design. The weave pattern alternates between yellow squares with a blue inner line and a green outer line, and green and red squares witha yellow inner line and a blue outer line. The background is white with a red line along the edges. The back of the hide reads "Dorothy Minoza / Fort ____ / N. W. T. / April 24/77"
