Bag 3 of three bags basketry fragments and one bag of chert. Bags are labeled, 416.1, 416.2, 416.3 and 416.4 No official label on bags and field catalog form states, "slough in pit, basketry fragment, braided cattail". No field notebook number. No excavator of date.
One brown piece of wood, cedar. This unnumbered piece of wood was found loose in a box, along with other artifacts from 45KT20. It has been assigned cat. #45KT20/1966-95/15 by the Burke Museum. 05/17/2011 I. Ostericher
Twined reed matting fragment with bound edge. Field Catalog Form lists the object information as unit "4S2, vert. 3'6", ditto (with reference to 575 "Fragment, Twined reed matting") with bound edge." The object is associated with artifact #228 in the Artifact Record Book 2 which lists the unit as 4S2-4, the depth as 3'6". The tag also lists the unit as 4S2-4. 05/12/2011 I. Ostericher NOTE: Original tag was ambiguous and only the end of a number was visible (-76). The tag was then written over as "576" because the object somewhat matches the description of the Field Catalog Form entry for 576. There is still uncertainty as to the actual origin of the object.

One fragment of cordage. Field Catalog Form indicates the provenience as: Unit 3S2, Level 7. Depth 6'2" "cordage." Original tag with object reads "45KI8 213" in black pen and "3S2-7" in pencil. On the back is the letter "L" in parentheses. 05/05/2011 I. Ostericher
One bag of "grass/reed fiber." Field Catalog Form indicates the provenience as: Unit 2S2, Level 4. Object description on Field Catalog Form is "grass sample. Reeds(?) in sack." The original tag in the bag reeds "Grass. Cave #1 (sets #) of 3 faces south of Whiskey Dick." 05/05/2011 I. Ostericher. NOTE: The label on the bag gives the number 45KT20/212 but the written tag inside the bag does not contain any artifact or field catalog number.
