Basketry tan cradle of simple interlocking coiled work (bifurcated stitches) with parallel slat base construction and a flat braid (three strand) rim with looped braiding at the head end. Decorated with partial beading: four slat rows of beading near the front with four beaded rows per slat. Design features a series of chevron figures each with four beaded rows in red or black cherry bark alternating with similar cat-tail grass bands. Also five groups of four beaded pyramid forms each in red cherry cotton print material for fastenings.
Bear shaped feast dish, or bowl. Carved from a solid piece of wood; painted black on exterior, unpainted interior. The dish has an oval shaped concavity placed at the back of the bear. The five toes of each of the four feet are also unpainted. Inside of mouth is painted red and has been inset with yellowed seal teeth; ten maxillary and eleven mandiblary. A nail projects from top of right ear, where a previous repair was done. Copper-coloured metal bands have been nailed across the lower jaw, and along the rear of the bowl.
Composed of two complementary parts in the form of raven. Reclining figure on raven's back connected by an elongated tongue to the second bird figure at the tail. Belly emphasized by a bird's face with recurved beak.
Rectangular-shaped rattle with bear's face carved on one side and a raven design on the other. Lines delineating the bear's ears, eyes, nostrils, mouth and chin are engraved into the surface. The bear's mouth is oval-shaped with eight teeth visible. Traces of white paint are present within the grooves of the teeth. Black paint has been applied to the muzzle area and brow region of the bear's face. Black paint is also applied to the sides of the rectangular rattle, but not the handle. The handle, like the high relief areas of the rattle, is stained a dark brown colour. The raven depicted on the opposite side is in a seated position with wing extended. The wing has five feathers, while the tail which curves slightly upwards has three. Black and white pigment highlights the engraved areas of the raven also.
Miniature totem pole depicting frog and a bear with sea lion. The green frog is at the base of the pole with the brown and black bear sitting on top. The sea lion is brown. There is a large hole at the top of the bear's head into which something can be placed. Painted red, black, and yellow on the natural brown wood. There are five nails in the back.
Carved wooden figure in the shape of an owl with wings spread. The head of the owl has backwards pointing, triangular-shaped ears and two large circular eyes with smaller engraved circles inside of them. Owl has a rounded body and two legs with three claws at end of each foot. Wing feathers are delineated. The object is painted with a dark stain.
Pair of silver drop earrings, cast from a mould. Clasps have a flat, circular ornament with an engraved starburst like design. The drops have round, bead-like ends, above which the dangles are decorated with engraved horizontal lines and tiny notches.
Alternate red and golden coloured cedar bark strips. Folded over a woolen band and secured with two rows of twining using strips of green cloth.
Ornaments consisting of two bundles of red-dyed and golden coloured cedar bark. Each bundleis tied with a wrap of string. Several strands of bark run through both bundles joining the two.
Rectangular bentwood box (part a) with lid (part b). The front and back are painted red and black in different designs. The front and back have complex designs. The sides have the same motif of vertical sets of ovoids and u-forms. Designs painted in black and red with stylized forms. The lid has decorative brass studs on three edges; the studs on the front are all gone, except one.
