A rectangular wood piece painted with a picture of a man and a woman each seated in a red chair. Both have pink faces, are waring gold robes and are holding a small figure on either side, on of which is wearing green and the other of which is wearing red. Each side has a potted plant with actual heads of figures as the flowers. In front, there is a pink-lined pool with a samll pink figure in a yellow boat. The top has a green curtain above which there is a horizontal pink line with three red writing characters. The plaque is standing on two red feet.

She is seated in a red chair and she is robed in pink decorated with gold. The case (part b) is black on the outside and red on the inside. A curvy red panel decorated with a golden sun, in between two gold dragons, is at the top. The inner panels at the front are red with gold decoration and outlining along its curved edges. Two vertical sticks encased in red wax at the top. Each stick has a shorter stick attached at its base with paper at a forty-five degree angle. On both sticks the orange wax also has three coloured marks on it--yellow, white and green--and a large white wick emerging from the top.

A base (part a) with a circular well covered by a lid on a hinge on one side, two more smaller circular wells in the middle on each side, and a circular hole in which the second piece inserts. The base has a picture of a crane on one side with the caption reading "Shanghai China", and another picture of a landscape scene on the other side with a caption of writing characters. One end of the base has writing characters underneath "1988", while the other side only has writing characters. The lid of the well in the base has a picture of a panda bear. The second piece (part b) is attached to the base with a chain and consists of a long curved cylindrical tube pointed up and outward to one side with the third piece inserted into its back. The third piece (part c) is a short hollow cylindrical tube with a larger end at the top which has three holes.
