Shawl PinSf1045 a-b

Two bronze spoon-shaped pins (part a and b). Part a: long, thin, slightly curved handled pin with a scroll pattern at the base of the bowl. Pat b: short, thin, slightly curved handled pin with broken ends at the base of the bowl decorated with a repoussé leaf pattern. Both parts are held together by a red piece of twine.

Wide, flared tunic with a rounded lower edge, made of cotton fabric dyed with heavy purple dye. Round neck with low upright collar. Fastens at side with frog closings. Black trim on neck band, at upper edge of closing, and the ends of the sleeves. Pocket inside the front closing where it overlaps.

Hat867/30

Multicoloured hat with metal ornaments, feathers and four long ribbons. The hat is dome-shaped with a lowered back edge. A twisted red cord with a gold bead on the end is strung across the as a tie. The hat is black with a white interior lining. There is an embroidered piece on the front of the hat, with pink flowers and a triangle border in purple, green, blue and orange. Adhered to the top of the embroidered piece are colourful pieces of fabric in the shape of flowers. Behind the embroidered piece are three metal ornaments, two ovals and one round. On the back of the hat are three circular patches, the largest in the centre. The patches have large pink flowers and multicoloured borders. Above the large patch are clusters of white feathers and pink beads. On each side of the large patch are two long ribbons, pink/yellow and pink/orange. The ribbons extend past the lower edge of the hat. Along the lower edge is a thick woven border in blue, yellow, white and pink.

Shoes867/7 a-b

White cloth shoes (part a-b) with a long upper portion and embroidered soles. There is a dark blue band around the bottom of the shoe with white stitching and a black patch over the toes and heel. There are four pink dots in a row on the tongue. The bottom of the soles have an outside border of green and pink outlined interlocking triangles. The green triangles are filled in with cross-hatched stitching. In the middle of the sole is a square with four purple leaves in the centre. The green stitching of the square continues over the leaves in an 'X'. The rest of the sole is covered with tiny black stitches.

Tool with iron blade attached at a slight angle to a long, hand-carved wooden handle circular in cross-section. The blade has somewhat flared sides and a straight lower edge. The upper edge has a convex curve near the handle followed by a concave curve, creating a wave pattern. The blade is bent around the handle to hold it in place, but has come loose. The blade is rusty.
