The rest of the skirt is sewn from commercially woven wool with a piled finish on the outside. A thin band of polished cotton machine embroidered with yellow and red undulating lines sits above a thicker band of the same material at the hem that is machine embroidered with a blue, white, green, and yellow abrstract pattern.
