One part of a three piece artistic representation of the attributes of the "shark caller". Figure is a large yellowish wood propeller with thick rope knotted at centre is painted white overall and has incised decorative motifs painted yellow, red, and black on the front surface.[p
Lavishly embellished robe, made from light beige heavy silk brocade fabric, woven with silver and gold metallic threads, incorporating floral motifs and roundels. The brocade has been cut and pieced to create a symmetrical placement of the motifs. The robe has long, straight sleeves and mandarin collar. The robe closes asymmetrically in the front (left over right), with buttons and loops at the neck at centre front, at the upper chest on the right side, under the right sleeve and at the waist side seam. All edges (neck, front, hem and cuffs) are trimmed with brightly coloured, finely embroidered and soft brown fur. Two rows of brightly coloured, finely embroidered bands encircle the robe at hip level. The robe is very heavy, long and voluminous. Lined with bright blue and turquoise silk damask textiles.
Dark yellow damask robe with standing collar, wide tapered sleeves and side opening with frog closure and cloud motif. Around the neckline is a large four-toed dragon with pearl and fire motifs in gold, red, blue, green and white on dark yellow ground. On the lower front and back, sleeves and side opening are narrow bands with dragon, fire, pearl, mountain and wave motifs. The inner lining is blue damask with the Buddhist symbols of good fortune. Around the edges of the lining is a border of red damask with floral motifs.
Brown wood whistle that is oval in cross section and comes to a flatter tapering end and is bound in two places with brown string and white cloth, one near each end with the former at the wider end and the latter at the smaller end. While the wider end is solid, there is a hollow through the tapering end where there is a taper cut semi-oval hole nearby on one side.

Brown wood clapper painted with face designs carved on both sides. One face has black circle in circle eyes with a vertical white line for the pupils and black brows above. The open arch-shaped mouth shows eight white teeth. Above the mouth, there is a thin, truncated, black triangular-like shape with white dots. On top, there is a white spotted green frog that has its front right leg in between the face's eyes but more to the right side, its back right leg on top of the outer circle of the face's eye as it also partially covers the pupil, its back left leg in the middle of the face's wide truncated, black triangular-like shape, and its front left leg on the face's other eye. Along the top and the bottom of the face, there is a pair of thin, red split u's. The other face is similar but instead it has a thin, truncated, white triangular-like shape with black dots and black teeth with no frog on top.
Brown wood rattle consisting of two rounded pieces put together, each with a flaring semi-cylindrical handle, creating a full rounded heart-shaped rattle. The top has a leather strap attached for hanging. Designs consisting of a face on both sides. One face has black eyes with black brows above, an outward pointed nose, an open mouth showing eight white teeth, and a red triangle on each cheek. The other face has black eyes with black brows above, two small red triangles for the nostrils, an open mouth showing twelve white teeth, and a red triangle on each cheek.
Arrow with a double-barbed copper point that has two other barbs that point outwards perpendicular to the shaft of the arrow tip at the base of the arrow head shaft. The shaft is wrapped with cedar (?) at the arrow end. Plain cedar shaft with remains of feathers bound to shaft at butt end with off-white thread. Further down the shaft there is also a band of thin dark brown fibre wound around feather remains.
Small wooden paddle with eye design in dark blue on both sides of paddle. The handle widens from the neck with two notches just below a cylindrical piece of wood at the top.
Nuu-chah-nulth style dugout canoe with fine overall adze work. Most of canoe is covered in paint (currently pink; originally red) except for the bottom interior of the hull. Two original seats are still in place; the two missing seats were replaced with new boards in 2006. Original prow (wolf's head) no longer with canoe; new unpainted prow carved and added in 2006. The stern piece has become detached (part b), but is sitting loosely in place.
