Tapa ClothC934

The cloth is rectangular with many thin orange-brown lines on a natural coloured background. The cloth is divided into five bordered panels with dark brown lines. In each panel there are two long natural coloured triangles, one at each end. There is also a large, brown, randomly placed dot in each panel; one panel has two dots. The cloth is painted on one side.

Spear2642/10

Spear with a pointed metal cap point. There is woven fibre wrapped around the spear near the tip, above which there are carved designs, including a depiction of a face. The recessed areas of the design have been caked with an off-white pigment, possibly lime. There is a single fibre string tied near the bottom of the spear.

Sword-shaped wood club with three high ridges at the junction of the club and the handle. The sword-shaped section has an arrow point-like shape with a ridge along the middle of each side and cross-sectionally across the mid-point. Horizontal geometric zigzag bands decorate the club with one band near the three high ridges, one band near the middle of the blade-like section and two bands near the top.

Rounded plain wood handle. The shaft and the head are lozenge- shaped in cross section. The head and shaft are decorated with zigzag and tooth patterns in rows. The top is flat. There is a flat triangular feature with a hole at the centre on the handle end.
