The flat rectangular piece of wood is painted with ochre pigment. One end of the wood is covered in brown-black resin. At one time there was probably a blade secured to the resin.
Twenty three teeth are woven tightly together with fibre at one end to join the handle in an hour-glass-like shape. Handle is decorated with geometric designs of red and yellow on a back ground. The upper portion of the handle has a design that consists of a pair vertical bands of yellow zig zags on a red background. The lower portion of the handle has a design that consists of a diamond pattern.
