Tan basket (part a) of simple interlocking coiled work (bifurcated stitches) with parallel slat base construction. Sides are open work with the slats alternating with loop work rows. The basket has a handle (now separated, part b). The rim is finished with a looped row with a plain row over it. Beading over the side slats (four beaded rows/slat). Alternating and staggered cherry bark and cat-tail grass strips, either black or red cherry bark for entire slat.

Panel with a red ground embroidered with multicoloured and gold birds and flowers. Black borders embroidered with a floral motif in two hues of blue finish the sides and bottom edge and a band crosses the red panel near the top. The top edge of the panel is finished with light blue cotton and there is a loop at either side. The reverse is finished with off-white cotton.

Gray damask silk skirt with no waistband. The skirt has pleated and embroidered panels edged with black trim. The lower sections have butterfly and floral motifs in gold, white and blue on gray ground. Around the sides and bottom hem are thick black borders with floral motifs in white and blue. The damask is woven with geometric and floral motifs. The inside is unlined.

Tall narrow coiled basket (bifurcated stitches) with attached flanged lid. Parallel splint base and lid construction. Rawhide hinges, front closure, and string handle. Fully imbricated in cat-tail grass, with same dark cherry bark geometric design front and back. At front on one corner is a vertical row of connected and alternating red and dark cherry bark triangles. On each short side is same vertical row of dark cherry bark triangles that connect at corners to form a three pattern. At front rim are tiered stitches at intervals, alternating between red and black cherry bark. at sides and back there are only two stitches. Lid has design of three dark cherry bark diamonds, with red cherry bark lines on each side. Repeated shape, alternating between red and dark cherry bark, along rim.

Fully imbricated in cat-tail grass (?) with vertical rows of parallel bands in dark cherry bark. Parallel horizontal row at middle of basket, with perpendicular bar at regular intervals, in red cherry bark. Catalogue terms "design of flying insect". Lid has parallel bands of dark cherry bark at rim. One solid row of cat-tail grass (?) at top edge of lid, beaded rows of cat-tail grass (?). String attachments.

Fully imbricated in cat-tail grass (?) with parallel vertical designs alternating between geometric scrolls and zig-zags, in dark cherry bark. Parallel splint base and lid. Lid is imbricated on rim with intervals of dark cherry bark stitches. Row of cat-tail grass (?) at top rim, and horizontal rows of beaded cat-tail grass every other row. Skin tie on one side of lid, and one on basket.

Part (a) Rounded cylindrical coiled basket (bifurcated stitches) with flanged lid, part (b). Watch-spring base and lid construction. Rawhide handle on basket and one thong on lid. Fully imbricated in cat-tail grass (?) with design in dark cherry bark of alternating bands of 'succession of tepees' (as per label) and solid line. Lid is convex and has flange. Two rows of 'arrow heads' separated by solid line, all in dark cherry bark, with two rows of solid dark cherry bark at center, all on cat-tail grass (?) background. Fibre string attached to one side of skin handle.

Rectangular flared coiled basket (bifurcated stitches) with double looped border. Parallel slat base construction. Upper basket is almost fully beaded, three sides have horizontal bands of cat-tail grass (?) and dark cherry bark, alternating with plain cat-tail grass (?). Last two rows of plain cat-tail grass (?). On fourth side, top row is cat-tail grass (?) and dark cherry bark, then horizontal rows alternate between dark cherry bark and cat-tail grass (?), each row of beads decreasing in size. The lower quarter of the basket is undecorated.

Coiled basket with bifurcated stitches; parallel to watch-spring base construction; partially imbricated. The design from the bottom to top: three rows of double zigzags in red on bullrush ground; stepped pattern in bullrush; horizontal line with discrete shapes; one stepped pattern; discrete shapes on bullrush ground; concentric squares and double diamonds connected by horizontal line. Four rawhide ties; one twine tie and one braided fibre rope on the front. Colour: tan.

Red robe with a rounded neck, slender sleeves, hoof cuffs and side opening with metal frog closures. There are slits in the centre front and back. On the front, back and sleeves are five-toed dragon, bat, wave, mountain, cloud, pair of circular and rectangular ornaments, ruyi sceptre and peony motifs and the eight Buddhist symbols of good fortune. The motifs are red, yellow, green, blue and gold on red ground. The inside lining is blue silk.
