The woman has an elaborate head piece with a cross-legged figure on the front and a scarf draping down her back and around her shoulders. The scarf and dress are of the same design, blue branches with leaves. Her dress drapes over her arms and flows down to the ground where it pools around her bare feet. The neckline of the dress is low, showing a beaded necklace with five pendants. The woman's arms are crossed in front of her and she is holding a willow branch.

Front waist panel carved with zig zag line design and clouds. Sleeves carved with zig zag line design and flowers.

A large vase with a rounded upper body which tapers into a slightly flared base and a flared upper rim. Landscape scene with human figures the eight immortals engaged in various activities. On the shoulders of vase are handles in form of 2 t'ao-t'ieh motifs. All in blue on white ground.

Elderly man sitting on tree stump, with gourd and books and sword on back. Parts of figure has been gilded and rest is deep brown. The effect is like a partially gilded bronze. Impressed mark.
