Doll1057/9

The body of a doll (see records for 1057/13 & 15 for the two doll heads shown in the images). The skin is painted pink. Wearing a top and a pair of pants that are orange. The top is embroidered with a green urn-like shape among metallic orange and gold-coloured shapes. Fur decorates the edge of the top along the bottom. The pants are embroidered with a red and gold-coloured floral pattern. The shoes are made of red fabric.

Doll Head1057/15

The head of a doll (see record for 1057/9 for the doll body shown in image). The face is painted white with grey eyebrows, black diagonal eyes, rosy cheeks, and a red mouth. The ears have gold earrings. The elaborate black and gold-coloured headdress is decorated with patches of mint green and orange fabric around the sides with a black bead at the front centre. There is a long braid of pink yarn hair at the back. There is a metal hook at the bottom of the neck.

Hat849/1 a-b

White, conical straw hat with dyed red horse hair cascading from the apex in all directions. Metal finial with a large blue bead at top of hat; attached to the side of the finial's metal holder is a long tassel of coarse black bristles with peacock feathers, stemming from a carved red and white rectangular bead. (Part b is a detached peacock feather piece.)

Bell1057/16

Dome-shaped bell with square-shaped metal ring on top of bell. Fibre loop is strung through metal ring and is tied with a knot. Underside of bell has a braided purple coloured fibre cord with a metal coin(?) attached to its end and is used as the ringer.

Dance Apron1057/2

Light brown apron with dark blue border on the bottom, dark green on the other three sides. Two green stripes go across the lower half; each has nine bells attached. Four bells and seven thimbles are attached to the bottom of the apron. Top half of apron is embroidered with an eagle in pink, red and green on wings, yellow on beak and feet, holding a green in its mouth and one foot. Ink design in wings indicates embroidery is unfinished. One tie extends on each side of apron.
