In his right hand is a brown bird with green markings, a green head and sharp teeth. In his left hand is a blue bird with long tail feathers and sharp teeth.

Pencil drawing on horizontal rectangular sheet of ivory paper of four birds and two fish. The birds are in brown. Each has a single line of delineated feathers in two colours: the top bird in green and pink, the bottom bird in red and black, the bird to the left in blue and red and the bird to the right in green and red. Each of the smaller birds holds a grey fish, one of the fish has an orange belly. The bird to the left has webbed feet and the one to the right has claws.

Drawing on vertically rectangular sheet of ivory paper of hunters on the ocean. At the top is the sky with a yellow sun peeping above the horizon. In the water are a green umiak and four grey kayaks. The umiak is a wood framed whaleboat with two rowers and a steerer. In the front a man is using his harpoon to push away a lump of ice. Below the umiak are the kayaks. Three of the kayaks are being paddled and two have a sealskin float on the back. However, in the fourth kayak, at the bottom right of the image, the kayaker is holding a telescope in his hand. Immediately below this kayaker is the floe edge.

Drawing on horizontal rectangular sheet of ivory paper of three caribou and three wolves. The wolves appear to have surrounded the caribou and are in various howling poses. The caribou appear distressed and in various states of exhaustion with their tongues hanging out. The caribou at the bottom left is lying down, the one in the centre has his back legs splayed and his head tilted to the sky. The caribou to the left appears to be in the process of collapsing.

The smaller ulu to the upper left is used for cutting skins for clothing. The ulu on the upper right is used for cutting and removing the hair from skins.

Pencil drawing on horizontal rectangular sheet of ivory paper of a man attaching the skin lashings to an umiak frame. These lashings hold the umiak together. He is clearly working as his sleeves are rolled up and the viewer can see that he is pulling hard on the skin line. In front of him are arrayed parts of the umiak and some of his tools. From right to left these are: the rudder, a paddle, the steering rod, an axe, a paddle, a saw, a caribou antler, and a bow drill (mouthpiece, drill and bow).
