Two small temples adorn the arched-shaped mandorla behind the central figure who has his left hand in his lap and his right hand pointed downward. An obscured tree branch is over the figure's head.

Inside the arch are deeply cut figures of Buddha with his right arm raised and two flanking disciples. Above them is another smaller arch echoing the larger one. Vishnu is in a stiff frontal pose holding a lotus, mace, conch and discus; he wears a crown and is adorned with jewels and a long garland. Flanking him are 2 small females, together they stand on a pedestal which is in a lotus motif and are enclosed in a flame edged halo. At the base, a small male figure is seated on the left with his hands folded.
