Model Totem Pole1354/1 a-c

Model totem pole of a bear holding a human figure with an eagle perched on the bear's head. Totem pole is painted red, green and black, and has two spread, painted wings protruding from the sides of the eagle (parts b and c). Entire carving is mounted on a square red base.

Bentwood BoxA4371

Tall square bentwood box with black and red painted Northwest Coast stylized distributive designs. The front and back have complex designs; the sides have two sets of thinly outlined black ovoids. The box is pegged together at the side seam and on the bottom. Base is split and joined with nails. There is no lid.

Arch shaped stone slab sculpture with a buddha figure seated on a lotus pedestal supported by a central alms bowl, flanked by two lions. Two small temples adorn the arched-shaped mandorla behind the central figure who has his left hand in his lap and his right hand pointed downward. An obscured tree branch is over the figure's head.

Arch shaped stone sculpture surmounted by Buddha figure and two flanking birds. The arch is carved with symmetrically arranged zigzag motif. Inside the arch are deeply cut figures of Buddha with his right arm raised and two flanking disciples. Above them is another smaller arch echoing the larger one. On top of this are two crouching figures flanking a central alms bowl on a pedestal.

Deeply cut arch-shaped free standing sculpture of a 4 armed standing figure with 3 attendants. Vishnu is in a stiff frontal pose holding a lotus, mace, conch and discus; he wears a crown and is adorned with jewels and a long garland. Flanking him are 2 small females, together they stand on a pedestal which is in a lotus motif and are enclosed in a flame edged halo. At the base, a small male figure is seated on the left with his hands folded.
