Bark is bent and laced into place with birch twine around the rim overcast with birch root and partially beaded with crabapple bark. Geometric and linear patterns are scratched onto the exterior sides, revealing a lighter shade of bark.

The cloth is rectangular with designs covering the entire surface in dark red-brown, brown and black on a natural off-white background. On one side there are squares outlined in black and filled in with large black double triangles and patterned brown backgrounds. The other side shows the exact same designs but painted only in brown on the natural background.

Woven, wool, tumpline with braided ends. Central, rectangular strap features geometric triangle designs in pink, yellow, grey and black.

Rectangular, multicoloured rag rug. The image on the rug is a side view of a grizzly-like figure, with large claws and eyes, wearing a headdress. The letters "N.I.N.S." appear in the top left hand corner.

Dark brown birch bark basket with an oval-shaped top and a square-shaped bottom--bark is bent and laced together with birch root. Splint around rim is overcast and then partially beaded with crabapple bark (4-5 stitches every 1-1 1/4 in).

Square flared coiled basket (bifurcated stitches) with parallel slat base construction. Imbricated "diamond" design (incomplete shapes) in red bark and grass on upper half of basket, on three sides. Short bands of diagonal lines, in darker bark, three on short sides, six on one long side. Fourth side has four checkered vertical lines in red bark and grass.
