Depicts a yellow, white and maroon boat, operated by three people, sailing on a dark blue sea, away from a black coastline. Two large buildings on centre of land, with tall pointed roofs. Buildings are yellow, brown, white and red; roofs are black and white. Gables are yellow and have animal, human and geometric motifs incised across them in rows. Palm trees around buildings. In foreground, on the water, is a maroon canoe filled with fourteen people; twelve are holding paddles upright, one is at the rudder, one is on a central platform, blowing a horn(?). Large black and white bird flying in the top left corner, with a fish caught in its beak. Scene done in mix of high and low relief carving. Background is naturally coloured. Unsigned.
