The wall of the box is vertically straight, with two small, square posts on each side, each containing a bored hole through which a thin twisted rope passes. The rope attaches the lid to the body of the box, and allows it to open fully. The interior of the box is hollowed, with a thick base. The neck has an inset rim to hold the lid. The lid is flat with a square post on the top centre, also with a hole that the rope passes through.

Long, rectangular, mostly un-pigmented tapa cloth. One medium-brown column along the side with faint geometric patterns in tan. Beside the brown decoration is a brown partial hand print. There are patches of brown pigment on the un-pigmented area. The cloth’s edges are wavy and irregular.
