Armour1132/1

Black torso armour. The armour consists of two main pieces that wrap around the chest, hinged on the left and tied on the right. On the upper back are two padded prongs that rest beside the neck and on the shoulders. On the upper front is a two-tiered neck guard strung with green cord. On the lower front right is a green fabric pocket tacked onto the amour.

Lower face armour. The black metal armour covers the cheeks and chin, with an opening for the nose and mouth, in a solid piece. There is a green cord tie attached to the upper edges. Beneath the facial armour is a black neck protector made of three curved pieces of metal, joined by green cord. The back of the facial armour is red; the back of the neck protector is black.

Armour has triangular plates hung by dark blue cord onto a thin black band. Part (a) has four plates; part (b) has three plates. The plates are made of five black lacquer ware pieces strung together with green cord.

Pair of black armour (part a-b). The armour is rectangular in shape with a hook on the top edge and rounded lower corners. The front is painted with a black lacquer. There are four round rivets and a wave-like ridge across the centre. The back is covered by a black fabric with gold symbols.

Arm armour (part a-b). The armour is rectangular in shape, tapering towards the hands. There is blue fabric with a brown pattern overall. On the upper arm are four rows of narrow black metal bars overlaying the fabric. Over the elbow area is chain metal and a metal disc. On the forearm are five long black metal bars. Attached on the end are hand black guards with finger loops on the backside. The back is lined with coarse blue fabric.

Pair of black leggings (part a-b). The legging is long and curved with an opening at the top. Beside the opening is sewn a rectangular piece, larger at the bottom and stuffed with paper.

Two pieces of black rectangular armour with different cording (part a-b). The top end of the armour has a high ridge with two blue cord loops. The armour is made of six black lacquer ware pieces strung together with blue and multicoloured (beige, brown, green and black) cord. The bottom of the armour has a yellow-pink cord border. The back is lined with a piece of blue fabric.

Armour has two rectangular panels joined at the top by a blue band with long ties. The panels have metal wire within the bottom seam, causing the lower corners to turn upwards. The panels have blue fabric with a brown pattern. The upper portion has a beige band across the front, with a perpendicular band and keyhole opening. The lower portion has five rows of narrow black metal bars overlaying the fabric. The back is lined with coarse blue fabric.
