WhistleA4204

Light brown wood double whistle made of two single whistles of equal length bound together by brown twine. The piece on the left side is circular while the piece on the right side is oval in cross section. Both pieces come to a tapering end and are bound in four places with brown twine, one near each of the ends and two near the middle. While the wider end is solid on each piece, there is a hollow (two in total) through the tapering end where there is a taper cut semi-oval hole (two in total) nearby on one side. Lower portions are painted navy blue as is the twine binding at that end.

Brown double reed whistle that is rectangular in cross section and tapers at both ends and is bound in three sections with rown string, one near each end and one near the middle. One end has two hollows through it where there is a taper cut semi-oval hole nearby at either side, one of which is closer to the end while the other one of which is closer to the middle. Seams sealed with pitch.

Brown double reed whistle that is oval in cross section and bound in four sections with biege-brown string, one near each end and two near the middle. While the wider end is solid, there are two hollows through the smaller end where there is a taper cut semi-oval hole nearby at either side. Bottom has initials 'A.N.' carved into it as well as the number '2' underneath one hole. Seams have resin.

The letters 'MJ' are carved on the larger piece on top and on the wider end.

Blanket made of red wool with a blue wool border that has a yellow cotton seam binding on three sides. The beadwork is backed with rawhide and at the finished edge there is a strip of rawhide that froms a handle-like arc and another strip attached between the ends of the handle-like piece, each is beaded with yellow-brown, white and dark blue beadwork. Four white and dark blue beaded rectangles at finished edge. The beadwork on the blanket consists of four elongated arch shapes in white, turquoise, dark blue and yellow-brown above a mostly white beaded rectangle with a green and dark blue border near the edge and two sets of linear designs in dark blue and light blue with a vertical band of short green lines one either side of each, and two circular shapes in white with a red centre, a band of dark blue with yellow-brown rectangles, and evenly spaced blue dashes around the edges of each.
