Flat, rectangular cedar and cherry bark basket with checkerwork plaited weaving (cherry bark weft with cedar warp) with openwork 'eyehole' weave as well as some twilled design in skipped stitch cherry bark. Checkerwork has faint zig zag pattern. There are five horizontal bands of checkerwork evenly divided by openwork.

Dog MaskA7481

Wooden, dog mask, carved and painted with long muzzle painted red and black. Green ovoids are carved around the eyes that appear to have had an inlay surrounding a metal eyeball. Top of head has nails with little bits of skin and fibre around them - remnants of fur ? There is a piece of wood nailed to the inside left.

Coiled cedar root cradle with red, black, and white imbricated designs. Wood slat foundation with simple interlocking coiled work. Parallel slat base construction and three strand braided (flat) rim construction. White beading around the head. Three vertical panels of imbricated design on each side, but on one side the designs only go halfway up the side.

Food bowl with convex sides, the two longer sides with a top edge that scoops down at the centre and the two shorter sides with top edges that arch upwards. Each side and the base is made from a different piece of wood, and the top edges are painted red and inset with off-white opercula shells. The sides of the dish are painted with designs in black and red.
