Rectangular coiled cedar root basket with a lid and two handles. Parallel slat base and wall and lid construction with overcast rims on both the basket and the lid. Overcast handles extend across the basket and are attached to sides with leather ties. Large imbricated designs in black and red cherry bark with canary grass in between are on both the basket and the lid. Designs are diamonds or zigzag motifs. Leather hinges attach the lid to the basket along one side, while thongs are present on the lid and adjacent area of thebasket on the opposite side.

Rectangular coiled cedar root basket with two handles. Parallel wood slat base and wall construction. Overcast rim with root bundle foundation. Two loops, formed from the top row, are present on each of the longer sides. Two overcast handles are attached across the width of the basket to these loops. The basket is decorated with four rows of imbrication: a red row followed by a black row and then two more red ones.

Small rectangular basket with two handles. Basket is coiled cedar root over a wood slat foundation. Loops have been created in the four corners of the last row to secure the two handles. Decorated with alternating rows of red and black dyed cherry bark imbrication. Imbrication is also present on the interior bottom surface as well.

Encircling and/or concentric bands of multicoloured figurative and linear patterning around the sides and on the lid; red duck-like figures and bands of green, yellow and black. A wide oval bark canoe with rounded ends, a wood bar across the middle and another wood bar nearer to one end. The rims and sides are stitched together with bark. The inside is smooth, and the outside has a rough bark texture.
