Flared square coiled basket with bifurcated stitches, and parallel slat construction at base. Large geometric zig-zag design is imbricated in light yellow-brown grass, dark and red cherry bark. One cross in zig-zag in dark cherry bark with grass center or red cherry bark and grass center. Hide handles are knotted on inside of basket.

Design consists of the following from top to bottom: a row of white-yellow; a triple row of black; a triple row of white-yellow; a triple row of red; plain; a triple row of white-yellow; a triple row of black; plain, a triple row of white-yellow; a triple row of red; a triple row of white-yellow; and plain. Foot is beaded with dark red-brown cherry bark.

Large round openwork basket with foot, consisting of 5 rows of wide slats covered with cedar strips, alternating with 4 rows of loop work. Bottom is watch-spring coiled with bifurcated stitches. Beading at top edge in dark cherry bark. Beading on wrapped slats were checkerboard squares in dark or red cherry bark, but have mostly come off. Most of the loop work around the rim is missing. Foot is beaded with two rows of dark cherry bark with wide grass in between.

This motif repeats around the basket with the triangles alternating between two sets of black and one red.

Dome-shaped basketry hat with small checker work plaited square at top, where warps are visible. This area is outlined with twining and then the warps are split into smaller pieces and double strand twining resumes, but as much finer work. There is a row of triple strand twining, after several rows, and then the warps are split again and two strand twining continues. The bottom rim is finished with a row of triple strand twining followed by four rows of double strand twining, and then another row of triple strand twining. There is a fitted hatband inside hat with a cotton string sewn through it. A small cloth tag with a red letter "M" is sewn to the inside of the hat band.
