A finely polished brown wood figure of a female standing on rounded circular platform. The top of the flat head slants downward toward the upraised brow, below which there are two horizontally slit eyes, a ridge nose, and a horizontally slit mouth. There are slightly rounded triangular ears flattened to the sides of the head. The face is triangular with a pointed chin. There are breasts, a belly, short arms which taper to points, rounded legs which taper at the knees, and toes carved onto the big oval feet.

Tapa BoardIi7

A large rectangular wood board textile print block for siapo (tapa bark cloth). Carved with a floral design consisting of a central four-petalled flower with two pairs of leaves above and below and a downward pointing triangular flower with a stem and two leaves at either sides of the central flower with a tall leafed stem on both side edges. Both stemmed flowers have a horizontal row of zig zags above and below.

A big wood club with a 7-shape, of which the longer end tapers to a conical point that has a diamond-shaped grooved pattern all around and the smaller end flares outward. At the join, there is a double-sided head with both faces having large eyes and a stylized curved nose. Around the bottom of the sides of each face, there is a pair of curved lines that have a carved pattern of pyramidal protrusions. Each face has a long angled headpiece carved with a design of curls and having a similar carved pattern of pyramidal protrusions along the sides.

Large yellow-brown circular shell necklace ringed with a beaded fringe. Fringe is made of white, grey, and yellow-brown beads and dark brown, halved nutshells. Two beaded strings extend from the top of the shell.

Dark carving has large protruding circular eyes and a hooked beak nose. In profile, the head is encased in a crescent-like shape for hair ? that thins out along the lower portion below and in front of the hooked beak nose. Has a large belly with the hands clasped underneath.

Mask, oval shape in shape with a slight narrowing at the bottom; made of a fibre surface mounted on a bamboo support. Depicted is a face in the lower quarter of the mask. The face has round, cutout eyes and a flat protruding mouth with down attached below. Above and around the face is a curving leaf-like pattern along the sides and centre in black and red on a white ground. Design outlined in vines as lines. Long fibre fringe on band along the entire perimeter. Woven hook at the top.
