Print showing a landscape of mountains, a village, and a river with boats. Three large mountains are in the back. Two medium-sized mountains are on the right side. The village has embankments along both shorelines of the backwards c-curved river. In the upper left corner, there are two vertically rectangular seals, one of which is pink while the other one is red. In the lower right corner, there is a smaller, vertically rectangular, red seal. The print is vertically rectangular.

This is one of a series of reproductions of the "53 Post Stations on the Tokaido Hwy," from Nihonbashi to Kyoto (Hoei-do edition). Print is matted on a piece of white-yellow paper and has an additional cover page that folds over the print. A printed inscription on the cover page reads: "YOSHIDA To travel along Atsumi Bay one goes out of Toyohashi and crosses Toyokawa bridge." There are Japanese characters at the top, bottom, and side of the printed message.

Print is matted on a piece of white-yellow paper and has an additional cover page that folds over the print. A printed inscription on the cover page reads: "ARAI This is the present Arai on the opposite shore of Lake Hamana. The Daimyo or feudal lord used a boat, screened, with badges and crest. The first boat is for the Daimyo and the next for his retainers. The camp of the border guard may be seen on the opposite shore." There are Japanese characters at the top, bottom, and side of the printed message.

Print depicting Hujisawa Station (#6). This is one of a series of reproductions of the "53 Post Stations on the Tokaido Hwy." from Nihonbashi to Kyoto (Hoei-do edition). Print has a yellow-white matte and has a cover page that flips over the print. On the cover page, there is a printed inscription that reads: "FUJISAWA A spot near Kamajura and Enoshima Island. This print is rather ordinary, although, the four blind lute players leading the procession afford an interesting glimpse into the life of this time. There are Japanese characters at the top, the side, and on the bottom of the printed message.

This is one of a series of reproductions of the "53 Post Stations on the Tokaido Hwy," from Nihonbashi to Kyoto (Hoei-do edition). Print is matted on a piece of white-yellow paper and has an additional cover page that folds over the print. A printed inscription on the cover page reads: " KANAYA In the vicinity of the Oi Rover. The composition is good. Mist is cleverly used to draw a line between mountain and river sand, a technique not seen in modern painting. There are Japanese characters at the top, bottom, and side of the printed message.

A printed inscription on the cover page reads: " SHIMADA Along the Oi River in Suraga Province. The river, bank, stones and men, scarcely a fit subject for a picture, are skillfully and boldly portrayed." There are Japanese characters at the top, bottom, and side of the printed message.
