Indonesian slit gong or Kentongan wood drum from carved in the shape of a figure with a cylindrical shape body and a flat bottom. The top has a bulbous head with a carved face with incised eyes, nose, mouth and ears. There is a semi-circular ridge in the top with a hole drilled through the head for hanging. Through the middle of the body is a large slit opening that leads to a hollow interior. There is an incised band around the bottom edge with a stylized design. The band and the head are painted red.

Indonesian slit gong or Kentongan wood drum carved in the shape of a dragon-like figure with a cylindrical shape body and a flat bottom. The top has five triangular protrusions with an incised dragon head detailed with ears ?, spikes, large protruding eyes, incised nose and a central flower motif. Through the middle of the body is a large slit opening that leads to a hollow interior; opening is in the shape of the creature’s mouth with teeth the entire length. The body of the drum is the body of the dragon carved in relief with scales and claws. There is a hole drilled through the head for hanging.

The top is slightly rounded with an incised dragon head detailed with ears, large protruding eyes, flat nose with incised nostrils and a large mouth with two sets of teeth. Through the middle of the body is a large slit opening that leads to a hollow interior; opening is outlined in scales. The body of the drum is the body of the dragon carved in relief with various other dragon-like creatures; two have protruding tongues. There is a hole drilled through the head for hanging.

Kentongan drum or slit gong made from carved and painted wood in a gourd like shape with an elongated cylindrical body with a rounded bottom. The top has a semi-circular ridge with a hole drilled through for hanging. The surface is detailed with a stylized geometric design in white and orange on a natural ground. Through the middle of the gourd is a slit opening that leads to a hollow interior.

The mouth is in a slight pucker with the upper row of teeth display and a semi-spherical piece of wood in its mouth. The body is incised with curved two different curved lines for scales and for fins. There is a hole drilled through the mouth for hanging. Through the middle of the stomach is a large slit opening that leads to a hollow interior.

The top is flat with a semi-circular handle with a cylindrical shaped stick running through that has a carved snake head on each end; bottom is rounded. The sides are carved in relief with a stylized geometric design of triangles, semi-circles, circles and diagonal lines; painted orange, yellow and brown. Through the middle of the body is a large slit opening that leads to a hollow interior; opening is lined with a band of triangles. There is a hole drilled through the top for hanging.
