The male figure at the left is facing forward with his head turned toward the women behind the screen. He is sitting cross-legged and is wearing a robe with a beige and dark brown floral pattern on a brown background. The eight female figures are in various positions, wearing clothing that is red, blue, brown, and grey. The floor is blue-green; the background is off-white. In the upper left side (on part a), is the title: 獨息子に娵八人 (Hitori musuko ni yome hachinin), which appears in black on red, in a vertical rectangle. Next to the title is a poem by Umeya. There are two circular black censor seals below the poem. Signed 一勇齊国芳戯画 (Ichiyūsai Kuniyoshi giga), with a red outlined shape below. The print is made of two vertically rectangular pieces, creating a horizontally rectangular image overall.

Whaling themed print with red, bright blue, yellow, and black rectangular design. The central design consists of a thin red four-pointed cross-shape with the following black images in each corner, from the top right, clockwise: a whale tail; a lightning bolt with two semi-circles; rain and a wave?; and a whale dorsal fin with a bird face design. The surrounding images consist of the following, from the top right, clockwise: a red and black human in a blue boat; a red and black paddle; a red and blue human mask; a red and blue fish/whale, with teeth; a small black canoe; a red and black harpoon, with four yellow and red floats attached. Pencil inscription along the bottom edge reads 'Opetchesaht Tribe Poo'witsa 51/75 by Hupquatchew.' There is an embossed stamp on the lower right corner for the Northwest Coast Indian Artists Guild. Printed on vertically rectangular, light brown paper.

Mask (a) made from two separate pieces of wood and joined at centre at an angle with a triangular support at the top. The face is painted with heavy black eyebrows that have arched blue design elements above them, light blue around the eyes, red on the nostrils and lips, a black moustache, a red scalloped line design and a black line curving from the nostrils to the chin, and a blue scalloped design under the mouth. The remainder of the face is painted white. A tuft of feathers affixed to a tapering wooden stick with blue string and off-white adhesive fabric tape (b) fits into a hole at the top of the mask. A pencilled in design is visible on the cheeks.

Mask with elongated face, small eyeholes rimmed in black, black eyebrows with red and black u-shapes above them, red nostrils, and red lips with two curved red lines to either side of the mouth. The remainder of the face is white. Cedar bark fringe hangs from top of head where it is attached with off-white fabric strips.

Oblong, rectangular, yellow woven fabric with a purple, green, red and white plaid-like pattern; thick band of purple along three edges.
