Totem pole model featuring a squatting man holding seal, top has salmon and eagle with outstretched wings. Painted in colours of green, red and black. Signed: Charlie James, Alert Bay. Has piece of printed paper attached to the underside of the base. Pole is secured to the base by two nails.

The other side has two ladies sitting by rocks with another standing holding a basket. There is a stopper (part b) that is orange.

A closing fan with twenty-five inner ribs of ivory, interconnected with a white ribbon, each having abstract designs cut-out with Chinese symbols? The two parent ribs have a floral design cut-out. There is a metal loop with rivets and a white cord tassel.

Black characters are writtien at the bottom right corner with a red seal below. The scene is bordered along the top and the bottom by dark maroon-red ribbons. The top has a hanging loop. The rod weight is made of ivory.

The main scene (part a) consists of a figure seated behind a table with a figure standing to his left and two captives kneeling before him. The wood base has many metal bits protruding, indicating the various detached standing figures (parts b-g). Part b: a man with his hands through a board; c: a man wearing a top-like hat while holding a red and black wood paddle in his right hand; d: a man wearing a rounded hat while holding a short stick in his left hand; e: a man wearing a rounded hat with both his hands flaring outward at his sides; f: a man wearing a top-like hat while holding a short red stick in his right hand; and g: a man with the top of his head flattened and his hands flaring outward at an angle from his sides.

Stand that has been stained black and is cylindrical in shape. The stand has a flat top surface with a slight lip, three wide feet that follow the curve of the sides, and a cut out geometric design on the sides. Stamped "Made in Japan."
