Bone fragment has a natural sulcus running down the exterior surface. The interior surface is worn and has one piece missing (hard to tell if this was due to human action). The interior surface has been painted with a clear substance and labelled "45KI53 2N28W 777" in black ink. Excavated by Tyndall on 7/12/80 and identified as "worked? bone" on 8/28/80. M. Bone is a fragment of a right mammal rib, with at least seven cut marks visible on the exterior surface, near the vertebrae. A note on the 1980 artifact card comments see also 769 and 770--perhaps same--harpoon? The bone is fragmented into several pieces, but several pieces are still large enough to show evidence of shaping and polishing. One piece also looks like it might have been burnt.
