Glass bead. The piece is wide and round, a shiny dark blue, faceted on the outside. One end decreases in diameter and is hand-faceted, while the other is sheared. A large hole is bored through the centre.

Glass trade bead. Bead is long and thin, with machine-cut facets running it's length. An indented row of hand-cut facets encircles the piece close to one end. The opposite end holds a layer of similar faceting along the edge. Machine facets are shiny, while hand-cut facets are slightly frosted.
