The first piece (part a) is semi-rounded and whole except for the chipped tapering end. The second piece (part b) is semi-rounded with a vertical crack down the middle of the tapering end.
Small blackware pot of human figure with a tri-lobed basket-like object on his back. The pot is wide at bottom, narrowing toward the neck with slightly convex curvature. The mouth is narrow, inside a very large rim that flares into a three-lobed structure. Decoration on the pot includes carved clovers and incised linear designs. The lobes are decorated with incised diamond shapes. Attached to the front of the pot is a crouched human carrying the pot with a tumpline?, with arms raised and to the rear, holding the rim. The figure has a large head and face, with protruding forehead, nose and chin, carved smiling mouth, and carved eyes.
