The item search helps you look through the thousands of items on the RRN and find exactly what you’re after. We’ve split the search into two parts, Results, and Search Filters. You’re in the results section right now. You can still perform “Quick searches” from the menu bar, but if you’re new to the RRN, click the Search tab above and use the exploratory search.

A medium sized secondary flake with some smooth light grey cortex present. The exposed surfaces are a light grey with a blue tinge and a fine grain. Some flake scarring on the ventral surface.
A large core with some cortex present. The cortex is a thin band that thickens and extends three quarters around the belonging. The exposed surfaces are dark grey with a fine grain. There's a point of impact site with a bulb of percussion, some flake scarring and some flake ridges.
A medium sized secondary flake, or possibly a knife. Some smooth light grey cortex along the dorsal surface. The exposed surfaces are dark grey with a fine grain. There's a bulb of percussion on the ventral surface, and some flake scarring along the dorsal. Near the cortex the belonging gets thicker, and towards the edges it gets more thin and sharp.
A small secondary flake, or possibly a spokeshave. Some cortex is present along the thinner spine of the belonging. Dark grey with a fine grain, and a slightly lighter grey corex. Near the small hook on the dorsal surface there are a few flake scars.
Possibly a conchoidal flake, though no cortex remains. The ventral surface is exposed and unworked. The dorsal surface shows signs of flake scarring, and flake removal from the exposed ridges. This belonging is dark grey with a fine grain.
A large teriary flake, no cortex present. Medium grey with a fine grain. The dorsal surface shows some depressions from flake removal, though minimal flake scarring is present. The ventral surface is exposed but unworked.
Possibly a graver or a secondary flake. A medium sized belonging with some light grey cortex present. The exposed surfaces are dark grey with a fine grain. At least three flake removal sites with some point of impact scarring.
Possibly a conchoidal flake. This medium sized flake has a little bit of cortex visible from the striking platform. There is a point of impact scarring either side near the cortex, and some flake scarring on the dorsal surface. This belonging is dark grey with a medium grey cortex containing some off-white inclusions, and has a fine grain.
Potentially a unidirectional core, there is a flat straight end. The edges are not thin, nor worked/sanded enough to be a scraper or knife. This belonging is medium grey with a coarse grain.
A medium sized pointed fragment, possibly a graver. With a squared of flattened point on one side and a rounded off end at the other; this belonging has a dark grey finish with a fine grain. There's a point of impact mark at butt of the striking platform, right at the centre of the rounded end.
