A medium sized adze blade made of slate. The belonging is a light grey with a fine grain, and some white/tan patina buildup on the right mesial portion of the dorsal face. Also on the dorsal face, one edge has been flaked off leaving a jagged but slightly unifacially-bevelled edge, and there are some flake ridges near the middle centre. The ventral face is smoothed near the blade's edge, with some arrises near the distal end handle.
A medium sized slate abrader with some use-wear present on the distal end and left mesial portion. The left mesial portion indicates potential use as a spokeshave, as well. The distal end has a gap between two layers that goes more deep than a natural break between the layers to sharpen a blade. The ventral face is flat with a slope halfway through length-wise. The sloped portion looks to have some linear streaks from sanding other belongings.
Potentially a medium sized fine-grained slab abrader. The belonging is dark grey with some quartz veining, and an overall fine grain. The dorsal surface has a light textured feel, and a flat surface. The ventral face has been worked to expose a flat and very smooth surface, the colour of the exposed surface is a smooth black with white/brown quartz veining, and very little grainage. The ventral face has three impact sites, with the flat edge at the distal end, there's one impact site with a negative bulb of percussion at the top left corner, one near the top right mesial portion, and one with a prominent bulb bottom left mesial corner.
A medium sized hand maul fragment with the remnants of a nipple tip, and no base portion. Some use-wear present along the tip's base. The belonging is a light grey with some white speckling, and a fine grain. The handle and tip have been polished down smooth. Some fragmentation near the tip's base, and a few naturally occuring flaked off sections on the handle.
A large oval fire pot, with some evidence of use-wear present at the bottom of the bowl. The belonging is a porous desaturated brown, with a fine grain. The depth of the bowl measures at 8 cm deep, with some light black staining along the bottom. Some dark staining present along the bottom of the belonging. Some tinder even remains in the pores.
A medium sized single-beaked cobble chopper with cortex present; The cortex is a smooth medium grey with some tiny scattered white inclusions. The exposed surface of the belonging is a medium grey with a fine grain and some tiny white circular inclusions, as well as a few white streaks throughout. The dorsal surface has two impact sites on either mesial portion, the impact site on the right side has a half bulb of percussion. On the left mesial side there's a light grey patch. The ventral face has two small flaked off sections on the left mesial portion.
A medium sized hand maul base fragment, missing the handle and tip. The belonging is a medium grey with a beige tinge, and a fine grain. The surface has been polished down smooth. Some darker grey inclusions present. The base is slightly convexed with some use-wear present. A fragmented portion of the base's band is missing. Some black staining near the base, extending upwards- possibly from coming into contact with fire.
A medium sized side struck cortex spall tool, the cortex is a smooth light grey with a fine grain. The exposed surface is a dark, almost glassy, grey with a very fine grain. There's an impact site on the left mesial portion on the dorsal face, with compression ripples extending width-wise. A single ridge along the midddle of the dorsal, with some compression ripples near the left proximal end, and near the right mesial portion closer to the distal end. A flat angled section has been removed from the ventral surface, as well, creating a thin fine edge.
A medium sized hand maul fragment, missing the tip and base. The tip appears to have possibly been a nipple top maul. The belonging is a medium grey with a fine grain and polished surface. Some soot smudged on the surface, possibly fire-treated. Some black chipping and minor flaking near the base of the tip, with white and brown staining.
A medium sized scoria bowl. The belonging is a porous desaturated beige with some medium grey scarring around the rim of the bowl, in the middle of the bowl, and on a few spots on the bottom. The rim of the bowl has some nicks and indents.
