The item search helps you look through the thousands of items on the RRN and find exactly what you’re after. We’ve split the search into two parts, Results, and Search Filters. You’re in the results section right now. You can still perform “Quick searches” from the menu bar, but if you’re new to the RRN, click the Search tab above and use the exploratory search.

A small unifacially flaked core with some cortex along the dorsal surface. The cortex is a smooth light grey, and the exposed surface is a smooth, glassy dark black with a very fine grain. The ventral face has four impact sites on various sides and two bulbs, there's also some compression ripples and negative scarring present. The ventral face is very angular with smooth divets and clean breaks.
A small, thin, thumbnail knife with a unifacially bevelled edge on the polished down ventral face. The belonging is a medium beige with a very fine grain, and medium grey scarring along the edges. The dorsal face has a slight convexed surface, with a very shallow incision next to the edge of a flaked off section, and a percussion wave present. The edges are jagged.
A medium sized beaked unifacial primary flake. The dorsal face is made up of smooth light grey cortex with a beige tinge. The ventral face is light grey with beige tinge, and a very fine grain. The ventral face has four impact sites, two have bulbs present and two have no bulbs but a darker erailleur scar nearby. There are many defined flake arrises and some light ingrained dirt.
A medium sized secondary flake with some smooth light grey cortex present. The cortex has some indentation from the cooling/setting process. The exposed surface' is a smooth, glassy black with a very fine grain. The dorsal surface has three point of impact sites, one with a bulb and one with a negative bulb. Some flake arrises present, and some compression ripples. The ventral face has two impact sites, one with a bulb and one with a negative bulb.
A medium sized tertiary flake, light grey with a beige tinge, some black scarring and a very fine-grain. There are two small impact points, some flake arrises, and some compression ripples on the distal end of the ventral surface. The dorsal surface is smooth and convexed near the centre, with two small compression indentations on opposite edges.
A medium sized utilized flake possibly a thumbnail scraper, with bifacial flaking. The dorsal face is covered in three quarters worth of smooth light grey cortex, with an impact site, and compression ripples. There are a few small notches on the dorsal face, too. The ventral face has an impact site, and a clean break down with some compression ripples, and a single flake ridge that converges into two near the proximal end.
A large Pick Cobble Tool with smooth light grey cortex along the handle, extending down to the pick point on the dorsal face. The dorsal face has bilateral flaking, and a jagged pick-point. The ventral face has been flaked from all portions aside from the cortex handle, and has multiple flake arrises, the pick-point is straight from the ventral face' view.
A medium sized Pick-like Pebble/Cobble tool with bifacial flaking. Smooth light grey cortex present along the rounded handle, extending to the pick point on the dorsal face. The ventral face is a light grey with a coarse grain. The belonging is thicker near the handle before tapering down to form a thin sturdy point.
A medium sized lanceolate biface with one beaked point, and some cortex present along the right mesial portion of the dorsal face. The belonging is a consistent light grey with a very fine grain from cortex to exposed surface. The dorsal face has been flaked with numerous impact points, erailleur scars, compression ripples and flake arrises. The ventral face has one point of impact and a clean break from distal to proximal end.
A medium sized uniface fragment. The dorsal face is made up of smooth medium grey cortex with one medium incision and one tiny incision. The ventral face is dark grey with a fine grain, two points of impact with a single tiny bulb, and two flake arrises. The ventral face shows some faint compression ripples.
