Various prints (parts a-e) showing court ladies, dancers and actresses dressed in elaborate traditional robes predominant colours are red, green, yellow, gold, and black on a silver ground. Part g is a booklet that has the following inscription on the front cover: " EXPLANATION of Historically Depicted Japanese Women." Japanese characters follow the inscription. Near the bottom the following inscription reads: " Series 1 Kyoto Hanga In Co., 1954." Part h is the portfolio the prints are housed in. The portfolio is light brown with black writing on the front. It is held closed by two black coloured ribbons.

Print showing a night scene with two street food vendor buildings. There is also a tree with a small dog beside it; two people sit on stools at one shop, partially hidden; a woman is visible at the other shop. An umbrella rests on the ground. Main colours are brown, grey and yellow with red and blue. There is an artist signature (冨吉郎作) in black at the lower left corner, with the Japanese date (Showa 26) and the name of the carver. The paper mount is stamped "Made in Japan".

Rectangular portfolio (part h) that holds six prints (parts b-g) depicting different male Noh actors dressed in elaborate robes with long, shaggy hair, and female actresses in traditional costumes and elaborate coiffures. Part a is a green booklet called "NOH PLAY Explanation and Stories" (with Japanese characters under the English title). At the bottom of the booklet on the front, the English inscription continues: "SERIES 1 Kyoto Hanga in Co., 1954."

Shokunin Ezukushi: TenN2.1131 a-h

Volume I, titled "Heaven", of a three volume set (with N2.1130, N2.1132). The volume has eight prints that illustrate various arts. All are wood block printed in basic colours of orange, black, green, white, and gold. Some pages are detached from the binding. Each print is preceded by a title page with central Japanese characters indicating what is depicted in the print. Translations are in pencil below these characters. The first print (part a) depicts five men working on a Buddha inside a building. The second (part b) depicts three men making umbrellas. The next (part c) shows a man making writing brushes in sides and a man outside using a switch on a hide. The fourth (part d) depicts four men and one woman ? making armour. Following this print is an image of people involved in the paper-making process with stacks of books and scrolls on shelves behind them (part h). The next print (part e) depicts six women spinning thread. Another, (part f) depicts three men and three women dying banners. The last print (part g) depicts four men and two women making clothes out of leather.
