Some painting on features; carved in a sophisticated style. Japanese calligraphy on the back; writing includes the name of a place: Kamakura, Kanagawa Prefecture (神奈川県鎌倉). Seated god dressed in orange robe with two shades of blue with gold. Base is black, gold and white. The paint is flaking off. Tienjin-sama, god of letters.
