Yellow hood with embroidery. The hood is sewn down the centre back and curves to a point. There are two ribbon ties sewn below the facial opening. On each side is a purple floral motif with trailing ribbon and crescent shapes. Around the outer edge are black squares with a floral motif. The inner lining is white cotton.

Two square badges (part a-b) with embroidered designs. The design has two large lotus in pink and turquoise on black ground, above wave and mountain motifs in gold, pink, orange and green. The badges are edged with tin reflectors and white rabbit fur. The back lining is white cotton with eight metal snap closures around the edges. There is a purple stamp, black ink and pencil on the back of each badge.

Three pieces of flat cotton strips. Two pieces (parts a-b) are of coarsely woven cotton, ecru in colour. One piece (part c) is shorter, more finely woven and yellow-white in colour.

Piece of unbleached cotton, torn to form a square. Long loop of cotton twill tape tied to one corner. Characters in black and blue ink at centre. Colour: off-white.

Golden paper headdress entirely covered with open work with scroll patterns. Small bat on front of hat. Circular mirror insets and pom-poms on brim. Large green pompom on crown. Two short cord ties at back.

The folded hat is brown and rectangular with a rounded top piece, a back flap and embroidered motifs. The hat has a brown centre panel which folds inwards on both sides. Embroidered on the centre panel are red peonies. These designs are repeated on the inside of both side folds. The rounded top piece has a large embroidered dragon motif in green with gold, purple and red. Hanging down from the top piece on either side of the centre panel is a red streamer. On the back, the flap mimics the rounded top piece and extends down past the bottom of the folded centre panel, flaring out at the bottom. The large dragon motif is repeated on the top piece of the back flap. Beneath the dragon and in the centre of the flap is a large red ‘ji’ symbol (luck). Surrounding the symbol is a circle of purple peonies, yellow scroll designs and green leaves. On the inside of the hat is ecru lining, stiffened with cardboard. Two blue and ecru ties are attached.

Belt with a geometric design in hot pink, purple, brown, red, off-white, and orange. Bordered with red along the edges and finished with a braided fringe at one end, each braid attached toghether at the top with a band of woven red wool wrapped around them and tied.

Covered leather holder with Fu dog motif in black, pink and white, on turquoise ground. Cotton back and ties. Black Chinese characters.
