Charm2004-2/289

Spirit of the Ancestors-As a young child, my father and uncle took me down to a river and placed some devil's club in the river: it would bring them luck by charming the fish. This print is my equivalent of that charm. I have included four salmon to raise the consciousness to our incredibly beautiful environment. The salmon symbolizes such disappearances and the heron as a 'fisherman' became a metaphor for all of us - watching and waiting. - Lyle Wilson
