A light yellow-brown cylindrical basket (part a) covering a yellow metal can with a basketry lid (part b). The can states the following around the rim of its lid in black: "FOR OVER SEVENTY-FIVE YEARS THIS TRADE MARK HAS BEEN KNOWN THROUGHOUT CANADA AS THE SAFEST GUIDE TO RELIABLE TOBACCOS", with a rectangular trade mark in the centre stating the following: "W.C.MACDONALD INC. MANUFACTURERS OF FINE TOBACCOS. MONTREAL. TRADE MARK REGISTERED". The basket (part a) has a horizontal row of green around the top, and horizontal rows of green, brown, and green around the bottom. The side of the basket (part a) is decorated with various birds and geometric swirl designs. The side of the basket tapers into an upright rim. The lid (part b) is relatively flat with dark green and light green animals, and red and orange flying birds surrounded by a circle line of brown and green. The side of the lid (part b) has a horizontal row of green going around it.

A small cylindrical light yellow-brown basket (part a) with a lid (part b). There are four small blue-black birds equally spaced around the side of the basket (part a), with two horizontal rows of brown around the bottom. The side of the basket tapers into an upright rim. The lid (part b) is slightly rounded and has a purple centre at the top from which emanates a purple, green, and red swirl design with five equally spaced blue-black birds around it. There are two horizontal rows of brown around the side of the lid (part b).

A small light yellow-brown oval basket (part a) with a lid (part b). The basket (part a) has a brown-grey and dark purple and orange animal head on each side, and a brown-grey and dark purple geometric design on each end with three horizontal rows of brown-grey and dark purple, orange, and brown-grey and dark purple around the bottom. The side of the basket tapers into an upright rim. The flat lid (part b) has an orange oval at the top centre surrounded by brown-grey and dark purple with a brown-grey and dark purple whale on either side of it on the top. Three horizontal rows of brown-grey and dark purple, orange, and brown-grey and dark purple go around the sides of the lid (part b).

A tall basketry covered glass vase of light yellow-brown. Dark brown and red horizontal rows around the tapered top end. Main design around the sides consists of a dark brown horizontal row with two arrow-shapes and connecting a red quadrangle, a dark brown horizontal row with double arrow-shapes and connecting dark brown birds, and a dark brown horizontal row with two arrow-shapes and connecting a red quadrangle. Arrow-shapes point counter-clock-wise. Two horizontal red rows around the bottom. Contains material within.

Basket1588/1 a-b

A medium-sized cylindrical light yellow-brown woven basket (part a) with a low lid (part b) which has a knob at the top centre. The basket has two horizontal rows of colourful animal, bird, and tree designs all around. The basket has three horizontal rows, one red line with a green line above and below it, along the bottom. This same three horizontal rows pattern is also along the side of the lid, around the middle of the lid, and around the knob which is woven with a dark circle. Between the knob and the middle three horizontal rows pattern there is a swirl design. Colours faded on outside; still brightly coloured inside.

Hat1588/11

A red-brown and light brown conical basketry hat which flares slightly outward around the bottom and has an inner rim. There are two horizontal rows of yellow-brown around the hat near the top end and around the bottom slightly flared rim. The top of the hat is flat with four red-brown squares creating a larger square outlined with yellow-brown.
