Textile456/15

A rectangular off-white textile piece with wide bands of embroidery at one end covering about half the length. Multi-coloured geometric designs worked in counted thread technique. The main design is consisting of a central wide band of diamond shapes bordered by red while having an orange dot outlined with a green diamond shape within each inner corner surrounding an orange and yellow radiating centre. Filling in the space at either sides of these diamond shapes bordered by red, there are diamond shapes surrounded by red L-shaped protrusions in various directions while having a pair of orange and a pair of yellow cross shapes in a black diamond shape within each inner corner separated by sections of green surrounding a double black cross shape with a yellow centre on an orange-red background. From the side points of the diamond shapes bordered by red, emanate two lines of yellow, green, orange, and orange-red cross shapes outlined by black. This central wide band has a thinner band at each side consisting of one-quarter of the design of the central wide band and separated from it by three double black cross shapes with a coloured centre. Selvages on both sides. Ends are unfinished.

Apron456/6 d

An apron made from a rectangular panel of heavy cotton textile. Has woven horizontal multi-coloured bands with geometric designs on a brown background. The main design is consisting of a pattern with four narrow bands interspersed between three wide bands and two more narrow bands near the end where the tie are located. The narrow bands have a design consisting of a central red and black line outlined by yellow, green, and red, and bordered by black squares. The wide bands have a main design consisting of a central four-stepped or a Y-shaped interconnected coloured pieces band with the colours of orange, green, red, and yellow outlined by black, yellow, green, red, and bordered by a yellow and green chain-link-like pattern on a black background. Brown fringe at the bottom with a hem at the top. Brown cotton cord is fed through the top hem with allowance to form ties, each of which at the end, has a tassel.

Table Runner456/16

A rectangular off-white table runner with bands of multi-coloured counted cross stitch embroidery in geometric designs at each end. The main design is consisting of seven bands in an alternating pattern of a slim band with red, orange, yellow, white, and blue diamond shapes on an olive green background outlined by tiny black x's and a wider band that has a pair of the same slim band with a central red and white checkered strip in between them while also being outlined by pairs of red and black two-pronged geometric shapes. The central band is the wider band that is also outlined by multi-coloured diamond shapes. Plain in the centre. Machine hemmed on the sides. Ends are finished with a knotted fringe.

Table Runner456/14

A hand woven off-white rectangular table runner with wide bands of multi-coloured embroidery in geometric diamond-shaped designs at each end. The diamond shapes are bordered by yellow, orange, orange-red, and green S-shapes on a black background outlined with red. At opposite ends of each corner, there is a pair of orange or yellow star shapes with yellow or orange centres respectively. The centre of each diamond shape begins with a pair of yellow dots surrounded by a green square and a pair of orange squares on a black background. This is surrounded by red lines, then orange geometric shapes, and then pairs orange-red, and green squares having orange centres separated by yellow and orange cross shapes outlined with black on an off-white background. Plain in the centre. Ends hemmed.

A hand woven rectangular tapestry wall hanging (or table runner) with natural linen, jute or hemp warp, and wool weft. Main design is consisting of a stylized green, and brown tree with bird motifs in the centre on a variegated yellow background. The central motifs are framed by variegated red, orange, black, and gray horizontal stripes. Fringes are along the top and the bottom. Reversible.

A woman's wrap-around skirt that is a rectangle of multi-coloured hand-woven wool textile. Finished on all sides with braided red yarn. Panels of vertical stripes at each end. Solid black or very dark brown panel in the centre. Horizontal stripes at top and bottom. Red and black predominating. Top and bottom are interchangeable. Stiff and heavy.

Blouse456/6 a

Long cream woman's blouse with embroidery. The blouse has a gathered neckline with ties of twisted fibre, partial front centre opening and long raglan sleeves. There is embroidery on the front opening, shoulders and sleeve ends. The embroidery has a geometric design with a circle motif in dark red, red, orange and blue on cream ground. The bottom hem is salvage. The inside is unlined.

Round buck with straight, outward sloping sides and a loop handle. Two bands around body that are made of pieces of wood twined twice around the body; one band is at bottom and done is at the centre. Decoration is branded into surface around the bands and on handle; all decorations are floral.
