Mittens are wide at the wrists, narrowing slightly toward the rounded tops, with large thumbs. Cuffs are sewn to the wrists with fur to the inside, hide to the outside. The interiors are unlined.

A thin rope of sinew is threaded through holes in the top cuff, allowing the boot to be tightened around the leg.
