Three red lacquer dishes, each with an image in gold, metallic brown and black. Part a is the largest and has an image of a man riding on top of a cart of barrels being pulled by a bull; part b is slightly smaller with an image of a person with their hand on a goat's head superimposed on a large brush ? with objects below them; part c is the smallest dish with an image of two figures holding a gold Japanese character and another figure on a ladder that leads up to a large gold Japanese character, and with an inscription on the underside of the base in the centre.
